Due to popular demand there it is this nice plant once more. I have asked at least 5 people that have it and strangely enough nobody knows how it is called! Do you? Have a great weekend with pictures and friends.

Hi Dimitrious: How do you say it "gia sou"? This flower is beautiful - better than the last one which was more opened. I had an idea what it might be, but looking at the leaves to the right - it can't be. However, behind your hand I just spotted some Christmas Cactus leaves and that is what it looks like to me. I have one but it is pink. Yours is deceptive because of the close up makes it look so big. If it grows on the plant behind with leaves to to the rear of your hand then that is what it is. Mine hasn't bloomed this year - I think it is because I moved a year ago - and it is temperamental.

@Anne: gia sou Anne, YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY correct, the plant is called Chrishamas cactus, well spoted, I am glad that I know what is called now. Best regards D
hi Anne, grretings from Athens. The leaves that you see belong to the same plant that gives this spectacular flower. It blooms here twice a year and they are a joy to see growing, twisting and turning their heads! I am glad that you liked it. You know what they say about plants.. take care of them and they shall give you joy. All the best D.

Yea I agree it's a beautiful color. Red yellow, and a touch of purple. Maybe try a few still life shots with these flowers?
