My brother in law Xenofondas and his son Panagiotis gave us an excellent display of fireworks in Ioannina. Oh it was noisy, it was bright and it was great. The family had an explosive evening. Thank you all. You are artist of fire!

@Bronnie: oh I Kept my breath for 5 seconds, and prayed hard not to move, ha ha, it was enjoyable. More to this, my brother in law only had one of this to fire, so it was one shot only. Regards D
With my camera, I can't even attempt take pictures of fireworks, so I'm glad you're here to do it instead! I like how the lines are all wiggly and the shape doesn't isn't as cookie-cutter perfect as most firework pictures. It's more dynamic this way.

@dYe: thank you, mine has a special programme for fireworks, apparently what it does lets the aperture to remain open for more time. Look and see in your manual if you can ajust the time, if so try it with a moving light of a car to see how it works, you might be surprised of the result, kind regards Dimitrios
