Read is slowly, it means Easter circular bread! It is a tradition in my country to make this bread during Easter week. The egg is boiled of course and painted red, the colour of sacrificing the Easter lambs. The beautiful hand belong to the master creator Tina.

I see these goodies being eaten by the visitors to my local Greek Orthodox church over Easter every year, but I've never seen them so close! Great shot - and thanks for the information.

Great shot Dimitrios - the exposure is perfect and the bread looks so yummy! I've learned something else - I had no idea about this custom. Do you have hot cross buns at Easter as well? :-o

@Anne: well we make small round buns with sugar on top, they taste sweet and they are yummy too. These we call PASHALINA KOULOURIA. Normaly you can find these all year round, they go well with coffee, take care D.
