A trip is not only seeing places of interest. A trip is worth more when you meet people that live there and share culture. We were very fortunate to meat ANNA who had this great typewriter in her living room in Boston. Not just an antique, it belonged to her father. It was so nice of her to keep a piece that he worked with in the best place of her house. Thank you ANNA for you kind hospitality and generosity.

Nice one, interesting object. I took one similar to that in my local museum (will be posting it on my blog later in the week). I like the clack clack clack they make when being used.

Oldie but goodie, I wish sometimes we could go back in time to when things were simplier. At least this machine will not give you pop-ups, error messages, viruses, etc. Thank you for taking me back in time.
