Soodabeh from Yazd, IranNice old clock. Good subject. Imagine.... many many times this clock rang to waken that dear father up. So he went to work and made an effort to continue his family's life! 16 Aug 2007 6:51am @Soodabeh: so true, those were harder times, its good to know where we come from, regards D. Vanessa from Kent, United KingdomOH wow my Grandad had the same clock Dimitrios and I loved listening to the loud ticking of it, fab shot brought memories back to me now about my family :-) 16 Aug 2007 8:10am @Vanessa: oh those memories are cherished treasures, mmmmm keep them alive Vanessa, regards D. @Maysam: ...I agree with you Maysam Lorraine from CanadaMemories....light the corner of my mind, and the corner of Aminus3...so melancholic yet so alive, still :) 16 Aug 2007 11:25am @Lorraine: this is music in my ears.mmmmm memories........ @alla: thanks, the old stuff! ha ha MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomI love pictures like this they say so much, beautiful Dimitrios :) 16 Aug 2007 2:04pm @MaryB: thank you mi Lady MB, your photo-servant DK @Persian King: thank you my King, are you realy from Persia(IRAN)? Wolfgang Prigge from Granby, CanadaKalimera again. This photo is very interesting. The washed out pale background, the b/w photo with the metallic frame and the clock almost make it look like a black and white photo, there is just a little hint of color, and this gives the picture a soft quality. I like it a lot. 16 Aug 2007 5:51pm @Wolfgang Prigge: mmm I liked the way you described it, yes it does look like a BW shot! Thank you for visiting WP, regards DK rverspirit from Mount Vernon, United Statesnice simple shot.... the thermometer kind of breaks the shot out in juxtaposition with the heirlooms...wouldn't be the same photo witout it curiously.... 16 Aug 2007 5:51pm @rverspirit: yes it wouldn´t, anyway I try not to move staff out of the way especialy in another house, regards D Mikel from SpainHallo Dimitrios. 16 Aug 2007 6:44pm @Mikel: photography is about looking at life at an instant Mikel, you can stop time and enjoy the moment it was taken.
