In greek the words ΚΑΛΗΝ ΗΜΕΡΑΝ mean goodmorning, its so nice to see them every day you wake up, dont you think so? This by the way is in Alonissos island and is very very old.

Beautiful embroidery, and a friendly Kalin Imeran is always a good start of the day.
P.S: We heard about the loss of life and are very saddened by it, especially as it appears that some of the fires were set deliberately. I was serious about our waterbombers. As we don't need them now, our government does send them where they are needed. If your authorities get into contact with our provincial government in Québec City I'm positive they could send a few bombers with crews.

This is a most lovely piece, Dimitrios! How wonderful to be able to wake up each day to such a treasured item that has withstood the test of time. It must hold some very precious memories for generations of a family/families.

@Amir: it could have been but is not, This is done especialy for the wall, to greet the inhabitants and the friends in the house, they were in all houses 50 years ago, regards D
