I love owls and used to collect anything with them for years... Did you meet Jason when in Brussels ?

@Viewfinder: merci
Nice! I remember a Dutch saying: "carrying owls to Athens" meaning the same as "carrying water to the sea". Owls are considered a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. In Athens there's plenty of it. But in Brussels they lack it too much so I think you did a good job to post them as a warning to all European Institutes tesding in Brussels :). Nice bric à brac shop picture, with all these things that have nothing to do with each other. I don't like the pink knives and I hate the potential murder weapons (in the Netherlands it's not allowed to have such a thing with you, but it's allowed to sell them, so it's the same as with the marihuana: forbidden to grow and to transport it, but allowed to use in special café-like "coffeeshops", can you understand? - I don't.)

@Illuci: mmmm to much freedom in selling it on coffee shops, I dont know, it troubles me! we must work on education and preventions so nobady has the need for this kind of stuff! No need to fear it, just educate and explain to the young people what it does to them in the long run!
nice shot and idea

@Teresa Durães: greetings
I love Owls, :) this is shop has quite an unusual mix of items for sale, from Owls to the giant meat cleavers ! in the background. I particulary like the little sun on the bottom right. Nice one D.

@Helen: the owls say THANKS Helen
So many things for the eye to explore, yet I had no trouble picking out the owls!

@Tracey: owl 1+2 says thank you!
What a strange collection of items! Somehow the shot does seem balanced despite the obvious 'bric-abrac' display.

@drphoto: true, its a tourist shop with a lot to offer, happy that you saw the balance in it!
So many things in here!!!! But I like the owls...You remind me I have some mini owls that have been carved under my very nose and I bargained to get them. The woodcarver was so amused that he accepted the idea and sold them to me at my price, not his!

@Japanalia: you seem to be very persuasive! take a photo of them!
This shop looks fantastic.
