A monument so the people do not forget the terrible earthquake that devastated the city of Tashkent on April 26th, 1966
This is part of a new series of photographs taken in Uzbekistan during our Easter vacation there. What we are going to see is a trip back in time, a journey to a great land of very kind and hospitable people. So bear with me for the next few days. @Helen: it was impressive, earthquakes are BAD natural phenomena for us humans, see what is happening now in China, poor things, but thats life on this planet, it has ups and downs, kind regards D
