The door of the mosque shown yesterday, city of Tashkent April 26th, 2008.
This is part of a new series of photographs taken in Uzbekistan during our Easter vacation there. What we are going to see is a trip back in time, a journey to a great land of very kind and hospitable people. So bear with me for the next few days. @Helen: they are indeed, as you know other disigns are not allowed, eg faces, animals, so they kave master this teqnique of caligraphy and wood carving, impressive in any way. Kind regards Dimitrios
