This is part of a new series of photographs taken in Uzbekistan during our Easter vacation there. What we are going to see is a trip back in time, a journey to a great land of very kind and hospitable people. So bear with me for the next few days. Take care wherever you are on the globe, kind regards Dimitrios. Series started on May 7th 2008.

@e.: sure we did, please enjoy the series for the next few days, kind regards D
Wonderful piece of art! I like the way it's framed: very simple, so contrasting with the way it's painted, and yet not disturbing. Wonderful!

@Japanalia: she could tell the stories e? kind regards D
This is a beguiling image. Such a "simple" shot conveying so much: joy, seduction, warmth passed from one artist's hand through another's photograph. Love it. All of these photos of Uzbekistan are very interesting and well done. I've strolled through and enjoyed many of them, but chose to leave my comment on this one. Thanks for sharing these views.

@Wizened Eye: you are always welcome, it is a great country to visit with a lot to offer, especially on culture and fine people, kind regards D
I forgot to mention how much I like the wall. You have a painting in a frame, framed by the stone wall, framed by your camera. Nice.
