underwater garden 3

Its time to go underwater and try to describe the beauty as well as the difficulties of taking picture underwater. The location is the Aegean sea surrounding the island of Alonissos which belongs in the Sporades complex together with the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos. Please take a DEEP BREATH and follow me……….

The underwater plants are as interesting as the ones above ground, enjoy these flowers.

Wonderfully taken - I have only seen flowers underwater in an Aquarium! Does the u in your Camera Make and Model Number stand for Underwater? ;-)

@Anne: mine is an Olympus μ770 SW, meaning Shock+Waterproof, the manufactures says its is ok for up to 10 m, the deepest I have used it was 4m, greetings

@Earnest: well these were taken at low depths 1-1.5 m deep, so the light was strong and the colours more vivid, the deeper you go you loose light, kind regards D.
