Wind energy. Plentiful, clean, sustainable for life, lets use more of it.
This wind farm is located near the village of Kalivari in Andros island Greece.

Some people see these as eyesores; I think of them as graceful sculptures. And if they will help us sustain the earth, small price to pay. Nice photo!

I like them too. I don't think thet detract from the landscape. We are just getting into wind power in NZ so it will be interesteng to see what happens

Bird mulching machines :)

We have these all over California but they produce very little of our needs. we'd have to pave the state in them to see any significant percentage of our energy needs.

Nice capture of these instruments for renewable energy. We need more of these in Jamaica and I think I need one of the mini ones to power my home as my utility bill is killing me!

A curious trend in energy production. 1807 gave us the first gas street lights, 1880 saw the start of electricity distribution . . and, now, we get a return to windmills. We must have missed something along the way.

Perhaps not the most efficient method of electicity generation, but clean and green. I like your attitude D; look at the positive. We can spend our time thinking about the 1000 reasons for not doing something, or we can get on with what we know is a step in the right direction, no matter how small that step is.
