Great capture Dimitrios! Excellent tones - reminds me of Viet Nam protest when I was in college...
Well done my friend!

Helen from Melbourne, Australia

My life's work is dedicated to providing government education. Great pic. I can see this in a teachers' union magazine.

@Helen: Hi Helen, I did some teaching in the past too, it is great to comunicate with young people. Keep on the good work, kind regards an ex-teacher.

Karen from San Francisco, United States

I don't agree that high education should be free. Shared between state and the student is a good idea though. (At least imo).

Colour blind from Tokyo, Japan

Education should be free, but then again try to say that to all the big companies in the world. I hope the youth win in this case though.

14 Feb 2007 12:04am

@Colour blind: the greek goverment is having a hard time passing this new legislation!

Jen from Jessup, United States

@Jen: for EVERYONE world wide

Lisa Reeve from Portland, United States

14 Feb 2007 4:36am

@Lisa Reeve: I lived fro 2 years in Sunderlad UK, in my college we had grate teachers from Scotland, oh they were grannnnn personalities, many thanks Dimitrios

Damon Schreiber from Toronto, Canada

Great capture. I'd love for higher education to be free, which it sadly isn't here. Here, the students are reduced to protesting when the government raises tuition.

14 Feb 2007 6:29pm

@Damon Schreiber: sometimes we have to climb high in order to achieve our goals, regards D

jennifer radio from United States

I wish higher education was free in the united states!

16 Feb 2007 10:31pm

@jennifer radio: me too, regards D

ginger from Melbourne, Australia

we are seeing public education gradually slip away - privatisation being the main platform of our government. I believe in quality education for all - strange, though.. i have never met anyone who admits to voting our australian government in!!

24 Feb 2007 2:04am

@ginger: strange? what can I say, people change....
