I'm interested in "Thracian". As far as I can tell, it either means an badly defined area that sometimes goes from Greece to the Danube, and sometimes goes into what we now call the middle east, or it defines a gladiator style of fighting. I assume that these are representative of the style of dress from this odd area??

@CElliottUK: well this is a long story. The Thracian region expanded on what it is today Bulgaria and part of european ground Turkey.
These dresses are typical of the fashion women use to wear 150-60 years ago. Today of course we honor our ancestors by wearing these on National Holidays and school celebrations, 25 March, 28 October etc.
